Is Lifemoves Wheelchair Accessible?
No. It is not wheelchair-accessible because we are located in a 20-year-old building on the second floor. The stairs are 7" high and manageable for most people.
An alternative for anyone using a wheelchair or walker is to contact us to request assistance and the option of a kinesiology session at the Eileen Daily Community Centre near Confederation Park.
Is There Free Parking Available?
Yes, Free parking is available in the Tim Hortons lot. Our preferred spots, if they are available, are in the northeast corner and next to the bushes.
How Can I Get There by Public Transit?
Yes, there are several options. The #160 Coquitlam Station/Kootney Loop stops at Fell Avenue. The R5 Burrard Station/S.F.U. stops at Holdom Avenue or Kensington St., so people can walk a short distance. The #134 stops at Brentwood Mall and stops next to Kensington Square.
What Type of Payments Options Does Lifemoves Accept?
We accept VISA and MasterCard for private payments. Direct billing through health benefit plans depends on whether the plan includes kinesiology. Our rehabilitation clinic in Burnaby is ICBC-approved to provide active rehab that is billed directly to the insurance company, with no additional user fees.
