What Do We Need to Know Before Our First Visit?

Here's a list of a few key landmarks to find our wellness and rehabilitation studio in Burnaby North.

  • Tim Horton's on Fell Avenue and Hastings St.
  • Driving west, turn right just before the red pylon sign while driving west on Hastings St.
  • Driving east, turn left at Fell Ave before the collision shop and then right at the alley.
  • We are across Hastings street from Kensington Park 
  • We are one block west of Kensington Square
  • We are on the second floor above the car wash. Use the side entrance, which is a few meters beyond the fence.

Is Lifemoves Wheelchair Accessible?

No. It is not wheelchair-accessible because we are located in a 20-year-old building on the second floor. The stairs are 7" high and manageable for most people.

An alternative for anyone using a wheelchair or walker is to contact us to request assistance and the option of a kinesiology session at the Eileen Daily Community Centre near Confederation Park.

Is There Free Parking Available?

Yes, Free parking is available in the Tim Hortons lot. Our preferred spots, if they are available, are in the northeast corner and next to the bushes.

How Can I Get There by Public Transit?

Yes, there are several options. The #160 Coquitlam Station/Kootney Loop stops at Fell Avenue.  The R5 Burrard Station/S.F.U. stops at Holdom Avenue or Kensington St., so people can walk a short distance. The #134 stops at Brentwood Mall and stops next to Kensington Square.

What Type of Payments Options Does Lifemoves Accept?

We accept VISA and MasterCard for private payments. Direct billing through health benefit plans depends on whether the plan includes kinesiology.  Our rehabilitation clinic in Burnaby is ICBC-approved to provide active rehab that is billed directly to the insurance company, with no additional user fees.

We moved to 6123, 200B Hastings St in March 2025. This is our only active location.

Founded by Alfred Ball in 2007, Lifemoves Human Performance provides evidence-informed movement, rehabilitation, and wellness services. It is not affiliated with the California non-profit LifeMoves that provides homelessness and housing services.
