Climbing 44-777 Feet to Raise Monay for BC Children

44 777 Feet Climbed for BC Children

The Grind for Kids® is a North Vancouver based fundraising initiative that is in its third year; this year we all climbing to raise funds for a new cardiology section of the BC Children’s Hospital.  It was really nice to have one of my favourite summer activities, the Grouse Grind® open early this season.
This week my fundraising got a big kick-start from my family as I completed another four climbs. Since signing up for the timer card in 2009, I have climbed over 100,000 feet. On Canada I reached 44,777 feet (Everest is 29,092 feet tall) and achieved a new Personal Best in my efforts to raise a minimum of $1,000 in 2012.
Our goal is to give the kids in British Columbia a chance to enjoy the wonderful outdoor activities and landscape that this province has to offer.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated – either per Grind® or a set amount. My goal is 50 Grinds and 25 under 40 minutes.  I have completed 16 with 6 of them less than 40 minutes. Please sponsor or pledge here.
