Client Returns with Fist of Full of Transplant Games Medals | Lifemoves

Outstanding Performance by Margaret Benson at Canadian Transplant Games

Last Updated on October 9, 2015 by Alfred Ball

Yet again, sponsored client Margaret Benson returned from the Canadian Transplant games with a fist full of medals. Not only did Margaret participate in a number of challenging events, she did so while persisting through competition with a painful stress fracture in her tibia.

The games were held in the City of Quebec at Laval University, August 9 – 14, 2010. Her efforts landed her gold in the 3 km speed-walk in which she abolished her competition by just under 5 minutes. She also brought home a silver in the 3 km running competition. Margaret also competed in the 50-meter dash and for her first time, the shot put competition. Margaret gave some of her medals to her donor family to show her gratitude for the gift of life.
Congratulations Margaret and keep up the great work!
