Sahba Seifi Completes Kinesiology Master’s Degree

Update 09/17/2015. Sahba now lives and works in Seattle, Washington.

Lifemoves congratulates practicing Kinesiologist, Sahba Seifi who recently completed her Master of Science with an emphasis in Cardiac Rehabilitation from Simon Fraser University.

During the last three years, Sahba helped many clients with a variety of acute and/or chronic conditions. While focusing on Active Rehabilitation and Medical Fitness, she has gained the knowledge and experience needed to facilitate the improvement of quality of life for persons suffering from chronic pain, such as neck, lower back, and joint pain, along with persons who have been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease.
After achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics, primarily focusing on exercise science, a CSEP certification in Exercise Physiology and a BCAK Practicing Kinesiologist certificate, Sahba wanted to further expand her understanding and knowledge of the human body and its ability to adapt.
In September of 2008, she continued her journey by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology. Her focus for the past year was on cardiac rehabilitation and she worked exclusively with athletes suffering from cardiovascular disease.
By mastering her project and completing her Master’s degree in April 2010, Sahba can now apply her knowledge and experience to her existing clients, as well as those individuals who suffer from cardiovascular disease. Sahba shares Lifemoves’ philosophies that training safely and effectively starts from a strong base of knowledge, and that we always need to expand our knowledge through continuing education.

Do you or someone you know have a cardiovascular condition and want to learn how to exercise safely? If yes, click here to book a consultation with Sahba today before her rates increase on May 15th, 2010.
